Dr Kathryn Futrega

Kathryn Futrega has a PhD in Biomedical Science from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Waterloo, Canada. During her Phd she worked on the development of cell culture devices, methods for haematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and differentiation of adult stem cells for bone and cartilage repair.  Kathryn continues her research into stem cells for tissue repair at the Translation Research Institute (TRI) in Brisbane.
