Become a Sponsor of our Third Annual Meeting at the Melbourne Convention Centre, Melbourne 15th November 2010, and support the Australasian Society for Stem Cell Research. The ASSCR is the only stem cell society for stem cell researchers and professionals in Australia and New Zealand. The ASSCR First and Second Annual Meetings were highly successful, with over two hundred delegates at the Shine Dome in Canberra in 2009.

The ASSCR Third Annual Meeting aims to bring together our regions best stem cell scientists working in different areas of stem cell research as well as prestigious International Speakers. Some sessions are co-organised by other societies.

The meeting themes include:

  • Repairing Heart
  • Lung development and repair
  • Stem cells in gastrointestinal cancers.

All delegates are encouraged to present and discuss their research at our poster session. A number of poster submissions will be selected to speak and Poster Prizes will be awarded based on scientific quality and presentation.

The Melbourne Convention Centre is an excellent location for this scientific meeting. Being part of the Australian Health and Medical Research Congress will increase network opportunities and interested delegates. The Melbourne Convention Centre is situated in Central Melbourne, close to transport and parking. The ASSCR will provide meeting rooms for attendees interested in organising smaller meetings or interest groups to facilitate stem cell networking.
